Extraction Fans
Lab Space Solutions
Fans are a core component of laboratory ventilation systems and play a critical role in maintaining safe and controlled air conditions. They are responsible for transporting contaminated air, fumes, and vapors from extraction points to the discharge point, supporting compliance with strict laboratory safety and air quality requirements.
Laboratory fans must be reliable, energy-efficient, and suitable for continuous operation. Depending on the application, they need to handle different air volumes, pressure levels, and chemically aggressive exhaust air. A modular range of fan solutions allows laboratory ventilation systems to be adapted precisely to the specific process, layout, and operational demands of the laboratory.
Our experts support you in selecting the Fans that best fits your application.
Our Polyfans are designed for high-volume ventilation applications in demanding laboratory environments. A metal-free, corrosion-resistant polypropylene casing combined with a high-efficiency, dynamically balanced impeller ensures long-term, reliable, and low-maintenance operation.
Available in a range of sizes and configurations, the fans can be precisely matched to airflow and pressure requirements. IP56‑rated motors, flexible polyurethane connections with stainless steel bands, and a rotatable casing with eight exhaust positions offer maximum installation flexibility. Standard sizes suit all fume cupboard applications, with larger and custom options available for specific laboratory needs.
Our portfolio includes a wide range of energy-efficient fans from Fumex, designed specifically for industrial and laboratory applications. For evacuation of non-explosive gases, fumes and lighter particles with air flows up to 15,000 m³ / h (4160 l / s). The impeller has backward curved blades and is made of welded galvanized sheet steel.
Our High Plume Manifold Fans are engineered to safely extract and discharge laboratory and process exhaust air with controlled dilution and high discharge velocity. The integrated nozzle technology increases plume height and dispersion, significantly reducing the risk of re-entrainment at roof level and surrounding air intakes. We work in consultation with project engineers to design and configure each system to match the specific airflow, pressure, and project requirements, ensuring efficient and stable operation. With a wide range of sizes, materials, and drive arrangements, our solutions provide reliable, compliant, and long-term performance for demanding laboratory environments.
