Every “Smoothflow Safety Control System” is specifically equipped to meet the system needs and programmed accordingly, (programs can be re-written on site).
This device is an electronic module that controls all the functions of the fume cupboard and ensures the system is safe by constantly monitoring the face velocity/exhaust volume.
Features
Emergency Isolator. Shuts off all burning gas and electrical services. Does not shut off fan operation.
Light on/off. One touch to enable fluorescent light.
Exhaust fan on/off. Default screen will continuously display face velocity except during pre and post purge times.
Alarm Mute. Temporarily disables audible alarm. Reactivates beeping to remind user if problem has been unattended.
Service Operations. Press to enable electrical outlets and burning gas services in normal operating mode.
Lab Event Timer. Displays elapsed time and alarm at cycle end. Pre-set up to 16 hours.
BMS Outputs for operation, sash position and alarm status
Spray bar operation. Manual on/off operation of spray bar (if spraybar is fitted).
