The Association for Biosafety for Australia and New Zealand (ABSANZ) announces it standing committee
We are proud to announce that Max Arbrew and Brett Cole have been accepted as committee members of the Association of Biosafety for Australia and New Zealand (ASBANZ). Max has been accepted on to the Professional Development Committee while Brett has been accepted onto the Political Liaison Committee.
The professional development committee will developed the skills of ABSANZ members and recognition of Australia and New Zealand’s biosafety, biocontainment and biosecurity experience and skills. The Political Liaison Committee keeps members informed on the relevant activities of OGTR, AQIS, Standards Australia and the Security Sensitive Biological Agents and will enable both input on policy that is being developed by these groups and promote ABSANZ corporate presence with government.
We look forward to working closely with ABSANZ in 2012 and beyond.
