Australian/New Zealand Standard AS2243.9 Safety in Laboratories Recirculating Fume Cabinets has been updated. The changes from the 2003 edition are more emphasis on risk assessment.
Further detail has been inserted regarding main filter types and possible chemical incompatabilities therein. Lab Systems Group has two active members on the AS 2243.9 committee, Max Abrtew and Brett Cole.
